England vs Spain

England vs Spain: Spain are favourites to beat England on Monday, as the pair clash in Group 3 of League A in the UEFA Nations League in Seville.Marcus Rashford will look to make an impression for England tonight in their Nations League fixture in Spain. After wonderful campaigns at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals, England and Croatia would have felt they were ready for success in the Nations league.

However, Spain have quickly re-established the status quo, and their dominance in Group 3 of League A has been clear and precise.

Three Lions coach Gareth Southgate has continued to build a squad filled with youth and exuberance, but the games after Russia 2018 have served as a lesson to his team.

Spain have been ruthless, and with quality oozing from every pore, they once again appear to be world beaters.

Former coach Julen Lopetegui’s acrimonious departure destroyed any hopes of success at the World Cup, but new Spain manager Luis Enrique has arrived with huge enthusiasm.

The ex-Barcelona boss has his side set up in a familiar 4-3-3, and the attackers have quickly profited from playing a system they know well.

Spain have scored 12 goals in their last three games, and England will struggle to keep a clean sheet at the home of Real Betis on Monday.

Spanish defender Cesar Azpilicueta has said the disappointment of Russia 2018 has refuelled his nation.

Per Phil Blanche of the Associated Press (via Mail Online), the Chelsea star noted Southgate’s recent success but added his team-mates are motivated to show their own quality.

Chiefs vs Patriots

Chiefs vs Patriots: Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots play host to Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, and who wins this one could go a long way toward determining who gets home-field advantage in the AFC playoffs. A dream matchup is on tap for “Sunday Night Football” as the undefeated Chiefs visit the suddenly resurgent Patriots. It’s an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff from Gillette Stadium.

Riding the strong, uncanny arm of Patrick Mahomes, who’s thrown an NFL-high 14 touchdown passes, Kansas City is the AFC’s lone unbeaten at 5-0. New England (3-2) is coming off two straight dominant home wins in which the Pats outscored the Dolphins and Colts by a combined 76-30. Bookmakers list New England as a 3.5-point favorite.

The Over-Under, or total number of points Vegas believes will be scored, is 59.5 in the latest Patriots vs. Chiefs odds. Before you make any Patriots vs. Chiefs picks, you need to hear what SportsLine expert Micah Roberts has to say.

Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin will return to the lineup on Monday after sitting out with hamstring and quadriceps injuries, but slot receiver Trent Taylor will not play due to a back condition, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said.

Taylor, who underwent an offseason procedure to remove bone spurs from his back, has 16 receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ first five games. As a rookie last season, he caught 43 passes for 430 yards and two TDs.

Veteran Pierre Garçon, who has not practiced this week, is likely to play, but the 49ers will not have Goodwin’s backup, Dante Pettis, who remains out of action with a knee injury.

“We think (Goodwin) is going to be back, but Trent is going to be down,” Shanahan said on “49ers Game Plan,” which airs Saturday on NBC Bay Area (Ch. 3) at 7 p.m.

“Guys have to step up and play in that position, also. Pierre has missed the week of practice, so I know he’s not going into it 100 percent. I do think he’ll play, but all of our guys have to step up and they got to be ready to adjust as the game goes.”

Before you make any Patriots vs. Chiefs picks, you need to hear what SportsLine expert Micah Roberts has to say.

A former Vegas bookmaker, Roberts has his finger on the Chiefs’ pulse: he’s 8-1 in his last nine point-spread picks involving K.C., including nailing last week’s easy cover when the Chiefs (-3) destroyed Jacksonville, 30-14. On top of that, Roberts is 4-2 in his last six point-spread picks involving New England, meaning he’s on a 12-3 run with the SNF combatants.

After analyzing Chiefs vs. Patriots from every possible angle, Roberts released a strong point-spread pick over at SportsLine.

Roberts knows the Chiefs have taken the NFL by storm thanks to Mahomes, who’s accounted for 16 touchdowns against two turnovers and posted four straight 300-yard passing games. The Chiefs average 35 points, second only to New Orleans. And they’ve won the last two regular-season meetings with New England — doubling up the Pats by a combined 82-41 score.

But just because Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Kareem Hunt are electrifying doesn’t mean they’ll keep rolling against a Pats team that has found its mojo.

With security blanket Julian Edelman back from suspension, Tom Brady looks like himself again. He’s thrown for 615 yards and six touchdowns the past two weeks, while rookie Sony Michel has run for 210 yards and two scores in that span. New England’s balanced attack could erupt at home against the NFL’s 32nd-ranked defense.

The Pats have covered all three of their home games this season and enter “Sunday Night Football” on a 16-6 ATS run against winning teams.

We can tell you Roberts is leaning Over despite the high total, but his much stronger play is against the spread. Roberts, who ran Station Casinos sportsbooks for over a dozen years, says the point spread is off and he’s going big on one side to cover. There’s one highly pertinent fact people are overlooking, he says.

So which side of the spread should you back for Chiefs vs. Patriots? And what fact people are overlooking in this AFC showdown? Visit SportsLine now to see which side you need to be all over, all from the former Vegas bookmaker who’s on an 8-1 heater on Chiefs’ pointspread picks.Football Preview: Expect fireworks on offence as Chiefs meet Patriots

The Kansas City Chiefs are the AFC’s lone remaining undefeated team.Patrick Mahomes and company will face their toughest test so far this season when they visit the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football.

edded ImageChiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Has Won 7 Straight Starts To Open His NFL Career
Kansas City is the seventh team in the last 11 years to average 35 points per game or more through their first five games. Each of the last six teams to accomplish the feat went on to reach their conference championship game. Four of them played in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs can take another step towards locking up the AFC’s top seed with a win on Sunday.

Kansas City has already beaten the Los Angeles Chargers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars – teams that were all ranked ahead of them at the start of the season according to ESPN’s Football Power Index.

The Chiefs have won their last two meetings with the Patriots dating back to 2014. No team has ever won three regular-season meetings in a row against New England in the Tom Brady/Bill Belichick era. If they become the first, Kansas City will improve to 6-0 and pull further away from New England atop the AFC.

Broncos vs Rams

Broncos vs Rams: Los Angeles Rams wide receivers Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp are both expected to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos. On Sunday the Rams take on Denver at 4:05 p.m.The Rams might be getting used to good results now that the team has five wins in a row. They skirted past Seattle 33-31.

Todd Gurley, who rushed for 77 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in the Rams’ success. If you haven’t heard Gurley’s name lately, then you haven’t been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past five games.

Meanwhile, things haven’t been easy for Denver, and their game last Sunday only extended their streak of losses to three. Last Sunday, they lost to the Jets by a decisive 18-point margin.

The Rams’ win lifted them to 5-0 while Denver’s defeat dropped them down to 2-3. The teams both might be coming in a bit winded after having run the length of the field multiple times (the Rams picked up 476 yards, Denver 469).

who have not caught a ball in two weeks? Can running back Dion Lewis, who caught three passes for just 14 yards last week, be a significant factor in the pass game like he was in Week 4, when he caught all nine of his targets for 66 yards? Can a wide receiver not named Corey Davis step up? The Titans’ success Sunday hinges on the answers.

Coming off a heartbreaking, 12-9 loss at Cleveland Oct. 7, the Baltimore Ravens (3-2) this week visit the Tennessee Titans (3-2), who suffered their own brutal loss last week. Former Ravens kicker Stephen Hauschka kicked a 46-yard field goal as time expired to give the Buffalo Bills a 13-12 win.

Tennessee leads the regular-season series between these former division rivals, 10-9, including a 23-20 win last season in Tennessee. John Harbaugh-coached teams are 2-3 against the Titans, including a 13-10 win at Tennessee during the playoffs in 2009.

Here are some other key numbers for the Ravens, who will be playing their third straight road game:

Cowboys vs Jaguars

Cowboys vs Jaguars: One of the most eagerly anticipated Week 6 NFL matchups can be seen and as the Dallas Cowboys host the Jacksonville Jaguars. Kickoff from AT&T Stadium is set for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday. Both teams are coming off brutal losses. While Dallas dropped an overtime heart-breaker in Houston, Jacksonville was picked apart by opportunistic Kansas City in a 30-14 decision. The Jaguars are 3-point road favorites, up from an open of 1.5, in the latest Cowboys vs. Jaguars odds. The Over-Under, or total number of points Vegas thinks will be scored, has inched down from 41.5 to 40.5.

Before you make any Cowboys vs. Jaguars picks, you need to see what SportsLine’s Mike Tierney has to say. Tierney, one of SportsLine’s most proficient NFL prognosticators, has been covering the NFL for decades and reported from seven Super Bowls.

More importantly, he is riding a remarkable 15-7 hot streak on against-the-spread picks involving Dallas, and anyone who has followed his advice is up big. Now, he has scrutinized Cowboys vs. Jaguars from every possible angle to reveal a strong point-spread pick that he’s sharing only over at SportsLine.

Tierney knows Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles threw 61 passes last Sunday in Kansas City. While he racked up an impressive 430 yards, he completed just 54 percent of his attempts and was picked off four times in the resounding defeat. For the season, he’s thrown for over 1,500 yards, but only eight scores against seven interceptions.

Bears vs Dolphins

Bears vs Dolphins: The 3-1 Chicago Bears are looking to keep things rolling in Week 6 as they take on the Miami Dolphins. Sunday’s game in Miami will mark just the 13th time since 1971 that the Bears and Dolphins have played each other. The Bears and Dolphins do not have a rich history, but the Dolphins are responsible for the only loss suffered by Chicago during its historic run in 1985.

That evening the Bears lost by a score of 38-24 on the road. The two squads first met in 1971 and Miami won four straight against the Bears before Chicago won for the first time in 1988 by a score of 34-7 at Soldier Field. The two squads last met in 2014 with the Dolphins winning by a score of 27-14. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill completed 25 of his 32 passing attempts for 277 yards with two touchdowns, while Lamar Miller also scored one touchdown on the ground. Most notably, Bears defensive lineman Jay Ratliff recorded 3.5 sacks that afternoon.

Sunday’s game will be an important one for Chicago with a game against the New England Patriots lurking in Week 7 at home. A win on Sunday will also help the Bears hold onto their lead in the NFC North. The Green Bay Packers are currently in second place at 2-2-1 with the Minnesota Vikings also sporting the same record. The Detroit Lions are now in last place with a 2-3 record.
